Our Practice Specialties
Fractures and Nonsurgical
Many conditions that we treat do not require surgery; for others, surgery may be recommended only if an appropriate course of nonsurgical measures has failed.
Pediatric Sports Medicine
Dr. Nielson is the pediatric orthopedic sports medicine specialist and leads the Las Vegas valley in the treatment of acute and overuse injuries in young athletes.
Clubfoot and Foot Deformities
Clubfoot describes a range of foot abnormalities that may present at birth. Dr. Ryan and Dr. Kitchen are trained in both conservative and surgical treatment measures.
Scoliosis Treatment
Finding scoliosis early is important for treatment. If left untreated, scoliosis can cause problems with heart and lung function. Dr. Kitchen specializes in the treatment of scoliosis for children.
what to expect
Be prepared to be treated like a child.
Kids might seem like small adults, but their bones are still growing and are different in the way they will mend. As specialists who exclusively work with children and young adults, Children’s Bone and Spine know how an injury and the treatment chosen can affect your child’s body as it grows, and once it is done growing.
Our primary goal is to give your child the best care and minimize any long-term impact as a result of injury. It’s not about healing just one injury, but rather about what will be best for your child as they become an adult.
We love kids. We speak their language and we want them to be comfortable and know how to ease their tension and get them on the road to healing.
We offer advanced diagnostic techniques and treatment procedures while addressing injuries of the bones, joints, ligaments, and tendons. Also, you can always trust us to provide your child with personalized care from a team with expertise and knowledge in caring for children with musculoskeletal problems.
